Veteran husband-and-wife acting team, Eli Wallach (The Good, The Bad and the Ugly and Godfather III) and Anne Jackson, star in this 1960 production as a 38-year-old truck driver and a weary cigarette girl from a nightclub who elope and discover they know very little about each other in Don Appell’s bittersweet 1954 Broadway comedy. The mama’s boy’s domineering mother gives them no peace or privacy on their honeymoon and soon the marriage turns into the eternal triangle - with his mother as the “other woman.”
