The Royal Ballet’s Artistic Associate and former resident choreographer, Christopher Wheeldon OBE, has crafted numerous outstanding works for the UK’s premier ballet company.

Renowned for his contemporary ballet creations, Wheeldon began his career at The Royal Ballet School and joined the company in 1991. In 2001, he became New York City Ballet's first Resident Choreographer. Since then, Wheeldon has created and staged productions for many of the world's leading ballet companies, including original works for The Royal Ballet such as ''Alice's Adventures in Wonderland,'' ''The Winter's Tale,'' and ''Like Water for Chocolate.''
