Vivaldi: The Four Seasons (2002)
Music
From the historic Funkhaus Berlin Nalepastraße, boundary-pushing composer Max Richter presents his reinterpretation of Vivaldi's “The Four Seasons.”
Richter is one of today’s most innovative and stylistically diverse composers. His work has ranged from solo pieces to movie soundtracks and music for avant-garde art. Upon release, his studio album “Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons” topped the iTunes classical charts in the USA, UK, and Germany. It recently featured in the Netflix series "Bridgerton."
The composer and pianist is joined on the Berlin stage by British violin virtuoso Daniel Hope, formerly of the Beaux Arts Trio, plus the Orchestra L'Arte Del Mondo, under the direction of Werner Ehrhardt.
