Narrative Shorts: Stories in Motion

“Vivaldi Spring I” is an ode to the season of new life, inspired by the composer’s timeless music of waking after a long winter’s slumber. Like a grove of young trees, a group of dancers stand tall and burst into lush, intricate movement. Their dances take them bounding through lake, mountain, and grassland as they strike sculptural postures with confident power. Filmed on the First Nations land of the meeting place of Treaty 7.
