Maurice Hines: Bring Them Back
Documentary
“Organized Hope” carries the weight of the past toward an uncertain future through a poetic prayer on daily practices of forgiveness, survival, and resilience. A dancer journeys inside his mind and out into dramatic landscapes, all the while seeking comfort and honest expression. The film takes its inspiration from Kintsugi, the traditional Japanese craft of repairing broken ceramics using lacquer mixed with gold and the belief that something can be more beautiful through the stresses endured.
