Macbeth with Ralph Fiennes

Ralph Fiennes and Indira Varma ignite Shakespeare's tragedy in this blistering production, live-captured at London's Dock X. Designer Frankie Bradshaw's industrial wasteland, with scorched tanks and roaring jets, transforms the stage into the fractured terrain of Macbeth's mind. Fiennes embodies the thane as a war hero eroded by prophecy, while Varma's Lady Macbeth hones maternity into a blade. Simon Godwin's prowling cameras follow their unraveling in real time: the whispered plots, bloodied hands, and the crushing weight of stolen power. When ambition bleeds into paranoia, what's left but the knife in your hand? Shakespeare's most harrowing tragedy lands as a battlefield dispatch for an age of broken trust.
