Wuthering Heights

Emily Brontë's epic story of love, revenge, and redemption is transformed into a powerful new musical. Emma Rice (Bagdad Cafe, Wise Children, Brief Encounter) extracts the gothic core of Brontë's haunting story with her ingenious production. This new take on Wuthering Heights is a uniquely theatrical experience. Characters burst into song accompanied by a live band, the brooding Yorkshire moors come to life, and with a healthy dose of intelligent humor and charm, the passionate story of Heathcliff and Catherine unfolds in this intoxicating revenge tragedy for our time. A National Theatre, Wise Children, Bristol Old Vic and York Theatre Royal co-production.
