Crystal Pite and Jonathon Young reunite for Revisor, a critically acclaimed production that blends contemporary theater and dance. Reuniting the creators of the internationally acclaimed Betroffenheit (winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Dance Production), Revisor is based on the well-known play, The Government Inspector, by Nikolai Gogol.
“Following the global success of Betroffenheit, choreographer Crystal Pite and writer Jonathon Young reunited for this genre-defying work, combining text and movement in a revolutionary way. The production is a radical reimagining of Nikolai Gogol's 1836 farce, The Government Inspector, a story of a small, corrupt town thrown into panic by the rumored arrival of a government investigator.”
