Set to the pulse of Sting's greatest hits, this high-octane dance odyssey transforms the global refugee crisis into a searing portrait of survival.
Conceived by Olivier Award nominee Kate Prince, it fuses hip-hop, contemporary, and street dance to tell the story of three siblings torn apart by sudden civil war. Their journey, from a raided village to detention centers, unfolds through dazzling choreography and emotional truth.
Captured live at London's Sadler's Wells Theatre, ZooNation's ensemble delivers explosive athleticism and fractured grace. Sting's songs, including "Every Breath You Take," "Roxanne," and "Desert Rose," are reimagined by Tony winner Alex Lacamoire (Hamilton), with vocals from Sting, Beverley Knight, and Lynval Golding. Dramaturg Lolita Chakrabarti shapes the story with clarity and compassion.
This is dance theater at its most urgent and visceral, culminating in a final act that pulses with hope, memory, and the fight to reclaim home.
