Andrew Killian makes his presence felt as the occasionally frightening Drosselmeyer, softening in Act II as he guides Clara through the magical adventure. Ingrid Gow impresses as Clara's mother with expressive, tender moments. Peter Wright's beloved production for the Australian Ballet remains a joyful treasure and worthy addition to any ballet collection, a cherished holiday tradition brought to life.
